Editors Comments:
Every American business that sells good to consumers has a quality control analyst and a quality control engineer. In most cases the quality control technicians are responsible for the quality of raw materials used in manufacturing. They are also responsible for inspection and testing and evaluating the manufactured product. Quality control experts usually work side by side with engineers in the design and implementation of products. When students start courses to attain their Bachelor's degrees in quality control there is heavy emphasis place on the study of statistical quality control (SQC) and total quality management (TQM) their studies also focus on terminology and methodology. Those pursuing a Master's degree will focus on conceptual aspects and issues of these two topics. Both study the basics of International Organization for Standardization or ISO 9000 Certification.
