Information technology isn't just about computers and networking, although that is the basics from which they are taught. Information technology specialists have a thorough knowledge of computer software, computer hardware and networking systems. Information technology specialists are also called upon to keep up with the latest software trends. They must be able to analyze and suggest programs.
